Abstract
Achieving Excellence in Orthodontics: the Ergonomics of Digital Patient Care
Achieving excellence has always represented a primary goal for orthodontists in the treatments of their patients.
The employment of a full digital protocol has enabled the authors to effectively improve quality in orthodontics.
Quality means safe, efficacious and patient need-centered orthodontic therapies.
In order to reach these objectives, it was chosen to convert our daily clinical practice in a completely digital and systematic approach.
Only through a single digital platform, today we can deliver accurate diagnoses and treatments tailored on our patients’ needs, always taking into account aestethics, during and at the end of therapy.
All this made possible a real improvement in communication, not only with patients, but also with our colleagues from other dental and medical disciplines.
Indeed the quality of multidisciplinary treatments has also improved since they have become more predictable and of higher quality, thanks to the possibility to be proactively planned.
